WHAT IS IT?
The video above shows piano template with notation of every white key on the piano. Once made, it fits across the whole of your piano and fits the width of the keys. It will act as a guide to see how the notes are notated or some of the templates show just the note names. Time to get out your scissors and glue and get making! SECTION 3 Staff Notation Practice Sheets
WHAT IS IT?
The following worksheets show the music notation for 4 octaves of the piano. I use them with my students by pressing a key on the piano and asking them to notate it on the worksheet. WHAT IS IT?
These worksheets and poster will help you master writing major and minor scales. The first sheets shows all the key signatures of all the major and minor scales so you can use this to write a particular scale with east. The blue sheet shows the semitones and tones in a major scale so you can write any major scale! The yellow sheets shows all the tones and semitones in a natural, harmonic and melodic minor scale, so again, you can write these with ease. SECTION 10 Major and Minor Key Signature Posters
WHAT IS IT?
The first poster shows the key signatures of the 14 major and minor keys. The second poster shows key signatures with sharps, and why there are certain sharps and a particular order. The third poster shows all the key signatures with flats, and why there are certain flats and a particular order. The last poster shows the key relationships diagram (which is just the flattened circle of fifths) which all of my theory students use in their exam (they write it out at the start of their exam and use it to answer all the questions on scales, key signatures and intervals).
