Grade 4 Theory – Rhythm (Part 2)

 

This chapter introduces rhythm including more advanced compound time signatures for grade 4 theory. You need to understand the following:

 

 

  • The new simple time signature of 4/8  
  • The new compound time signatures of 6/4, 9/4, 6/16, 9/16 and 12/16
  • Grouping of notes and rests
