Learn to write any major scale with this ‘Major Scale Generator’ resource. Simply write the clef you need (treble, bass, alto or tenor) and your starting note underneath number 1. Then complete each of the other 7 notes using the simple instructions at the bottom of the worksheet. It uses the well know method of ‘tone, tone, semitone, tone, tone, tone, semiton’ which means you can create any major scale starting on any note. It’s also a fantastic way to discover any key signature because the scale you create will contain the flats or sharps of the key signature. It prints out as a PDF on A4 paper or card.
